Michèle Desjardins CMC Michèle Desjardins is a Certified Management Consultant and a chartered administrator. She has extensive consulting and executive experience. As a senior associate of Lansberg Gersick & Associates, a consulting firm specializing in family enterprises, she has consulted internationally to family owned or controlled enterprises on issues such as governance policies and structures, succession and leadership development, coaching for executives and successors and shareholder development. Michèle is also an Associate of the Niagara Institute. In this role, she is involved in the comprehensive assessment of senior executives from public corporations as well as family owned businesses, providing consultation and executive coaching to individual executives regarding their leadership skills and career paths. Michèle sits on the Board of Directors and the governance committee of the Board of the Caisse de Dépôts et de placements du Québec, a global fund manager whose clients are mostly Québec public and private pension funds and insurance plans. She also sits on the Board of Directors of the Société du Palais des Congrès de Montréal, a public sector corporation, where she is President of the Governance committee and on the Board of Directors of Cinémania, a non-profit film festival in Montréal. Michèle holds forest engineering and MBA degrees. She is a Fellow in the Family Firm Institute and holds their Certificate in Family Business Advising. She is also a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and an institute-certified Director (ICD.D)
